Duplicate items in inventory-pls help?! - Guild Wars Forums

I've become quite frustrated with the whole inventory of collectible items - through the game I've collected a fair number of items for collectors, etc. But lately, it seems that there are duplicate items that take up a lot of extra space - even though they're exactly the same and can all be exchanged with a collector, they have different values, so that take up extra space in your inventory. For Eg.
3 Curved Minotaur horns, value: 24 - 1 inv slot
7 curved Minotaur horns value: 48 - 1 inv slot
8 stone summit badges, value: 64 - 1 inv slot
2 stone summit badges, value: 16 - 1 inv slot

Is there some way of condensing like items so they only take up 1 space???

Im not sure whether anyones tackled this before, but if anyone know please help.

No. They apparently were changed/modified in an update so in essence they are 2 different items in the servers eyes (i had 2 silk that did that as well). Besides those items aren't that difficult to obtain so I would sell off the smaller group. Either that or redeem them.

Happened to me once with charr hides, I still sold them to someone anyway.

The value of the items are different. You need to either sell or salvage the older ones if you want only one pile. I have had the same thing happen to me with Bleach Shells , char hides and Fur.

I am impressed, it took a few hours to get a duplicate items post (as least as far as I saw) It happens every patch, Items post patch items wont stack with pre patch items of the same name/value/etc. Just sell/salvage/use the old ones and continue stacking with the new ones.

or give them to collectors. they still consider to be the same for collectors.
